10/26/07 - Yes, shocking, we know, but it has emerged this morning that Heidi Montag doesn’t really work at the event production company where she’s supposedly employed. What? Next you’re going to tell us that her sweet airport reunion with Spencer was also faked!

An “insider” from “The Hills” tells PerezHilton.com, “She doesn’t really work there when the cameras are off.” What’s more, another source says that Spencer Pratt and Heidi wanted to get married on the show, but that L.C. threatened to ditch the next season if that happened.

Speaking of L.C., a guy who was brought in to “date” her tells BestWeekEver.tv that Lauren really is as vapid as she seems. “She’s kind of a conversation killer,” says Gavin Beasley. “The lack of depth was actually uncomfortable for me. Like, how can nothing be everything you talk about?” (Other hightlights: L.C. is “odorless” and Spencer “really is like that.”)

9/14/07 – Lauren Conrad is an obsessive, scheming, hot-tempered betch, not the goody-two-stilettos that she portrays on “The Hills” – or so says nemesis Heidi Montag.

“I just have to accept that Lauren will never be seen in a bad light,” says Montag to CosmoGirl!, via People. “They don’t show the footage of how Lauren was sort of obsessed with Spencer [Heidi's fiancé Spencer Pratt] … or how she would scream at me in the middle of the club if I wanted to leave … to go see Spencer.”

H-Mo, for her part, is just happy to be on the show at all: “Even though Lauren and I aren’t getting along, I’m still happy to be on this show with her.”

9/5/07 – Rumor has it that Lauren will walk in designer, Marc Jacobs’, upcoming show for New York Fashion week.

According to wizbangblog.com, “Marc hired Lauren Conrad to do his show, so now all the real models have to sign releases for TV if they want to be in his show – which of course they do,” says an insider. “They are very put out that Marc succumbed to putting on one of ‘those shows’ – you know, the publicity shows.”

11/15/07 - According to sources, Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag are BACK to being friends! Recently, the two were seen getting into Lauren’s car, laughing, hugging and acting very friendly. Spencer and Heidi were also seen around Lauren’s apartment complex as well. Have the two patched things up? Rumor has it they are back to being friends but would like to keep it on the DL since their personal drama is the highlight of the show. What do you think!?!?

11/28/07 - According to The Hollywood Gossip, Lauren Conrad defended the rumors that “The Hills” show is indeed fake. As she took up the “black” carpet with Audrina Patridge at the Blackjack II by Samsung event, Lauren was quoted as saying “There have been some rumors in the press about “The Hills” being fake. Many of you have been asking me if the rumors are true. There are false rumors every week and I can’t address every rumor out there, but I feel like this is important for me to respond to. The show is not fake and really is my life. I have addressed these rumors in an interview ith InTouch Magazine’s November 26th issue.”

In an earlier interview, Lauren Conrad admitted that MTV producers may “hype up” their television drama.  Audrina was quoted as saying “…the producers might be like, ‘Okay, we want you to go to Les Deux tonight,’ so we go.  But then whatever happens, happens. And they might do things to tweak it a little bit, but not our reactions…it’s totally real.  It’s reality.”
